Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 becomes first Pakistani film to cross 20 crores benchmark in 7 days at Pakistani box office

Year 2018 has been a remarkable one for cinema industry in Pakistan. Earlier this year bollywood film Sanju recreated all records and later Pakistani film Teefa In Trouble despite a non-holiday release made a jaw dropping business and broke the record of Sanju for highest 4th and 5th week business of all time. With Sanju and Teefa In Trouble already in 30 crore club, here we have got another homemade blockbuster which is all set to shatter some major records of Pakistani box office, i.e. , Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2.

JPNA2 this Saturday made highest 4th day record by collecting 3.7 crores and now with its collections of 7 days (till Tuesday) falling around 21 crores, film with a very good margin breaks the record of biggest 7 day collections of 2018, earlier made by Sanju with 18.65 crore. JPNA2 also has become the first film Pakistani film ever to cross 20 crores mark at Pakistani box office on 7th day of its theatrical run. In a market where achieving 20 crores for lifetime has been quite a deal and very few of local and imported films have ever made it, JPNA2 by crossing 20 crore in just one week is rewriting the box office history in Pakistan and is an eye opener for all to see the real potential of Pakistani cinema market.
