Asim Raza’s “Parey Hut Love” promotions are in full swing these days. The grand wedding number ‘Ik Pal ‘ featuring Meera along with the entire PHL family was the first video song to release from the album few days ago and that for sure will make it to the wedding Playlists, this season. The current offering from the movie is ”Behka Na” that features the leads Maya and Sheheryar exhibiting some great on screen chemistry.
Sung by the Nescafe basement’s ‘Mehbooba‘ famed Ali Tariq and the Bollywood singer Harshdeep Kaur, the song is an audio visual treat and a potential love anthem signifying the initial phases of falling in Love. The starting scenes of song reminds us of few scenes from Hollywood flick “The Greatest Showman” and we are not complaining about it, as this too looks as magical as the original one. The lead actors are then seen taking the bike ride for having some gol gappas and then the video features some breathtaking scenes from the scenic locations of Kashmir. The continous transition of scenes in video perfectly aligns with the muzziness of the lyrics ‘ bhaagtey in Nazaaron mein ‘.
The audio, lyrics and the instruments used are harmonious and you will find yourself humming the song for a few days. Ali Tariq has sure won us over with his dreamy voice, one that is apt for the song. Where Azan Sami Khan deserves the applauds for this soothing composition, the lyrics and the larger than life visuals by Asim Raza together make this song speak for its perfection. With the Jukebox already out and having been through all the songs we can safely say that ‘Behka Na’ is the best of the lot.
