With a lot of controversies springing up, July has been a month of allegations and counter arguments. First we got to see Mohsin Abbas Haider alleged by his wife for domestic abuse, then came Ukhano and Imam ul Haq and just recently Humaima Malik with her allegations of an ‘Abusive Marriage’ against her ex husband Shamoon Abbasi.
Shamoon, however, in a recent Facebook post has completely denied any kind of abusive relationship, declaring that Humaima’s stance was completely mis interpreted and that the two have a good relationship with each other post marriage as well.
”Me and humaima have been good friends even after our divorce and always respected eachother in general, and in public places.. Even joked about things we shared in the past”, writes Shamoon in his post.
Admitting that in their married life they had some conflicts but that never meant that the two hurted eachother. He further gave a major hint that the their marriage life was disturbed due to Humaima’s career aspirations. ”Once we parted away she had the entire world to conquer and I knew she will, I always thought may be I was not good enough for her career, though I tried to help as much as I could.. And always hoped she gets married to the person that is better for her”.
He even went on to reveal that Humaima, a few months ago approached him for a joint venture (film), and said that Humaima is still in good relationship with him and his family. Referring to the 7 years of painful relationship with someone else that Humaima reffered to in her post, Shamoon said that he felt sorry for her because he wanted to see her happy. Moreover he expressed his disturbance over the family matter made public. ”I think these are always domestic matters and should be dealt with care and not bring them to broad day light”

With a complete denial from Shamoon, we now wait for Humaima’s response.
