Films You Can Watch in Cinemas This Weekend

This weekend there are a lot of films you can go watch. Local releases and international films are all available for viewing. Not only are recent releases available however, some cinema chains are even releasing old favourites.

Gemini Man
Will Smith’s next Blockbuster has him in a double role as a clone trying to kill his original self. With “Life of Pi” famed Academy award winning director, Ang Lee on helm, this one is bound to be a special effects extravaganza. It comes out on October 11th and is the only fresh arrival of this Friday.

Old Favourites
The three hits from Fahad Mustafa, Nabeel Qureshi, and Fizza Ali Meerza along with last year’s “Parwaaz Hai Junoon” will be available to view this week at Universal Cinemas, Lahore. Catch all these for a trip down memory lane.

Laal Kabootar
The sleeper hit of the year which has been sent to the Oscars is back in theaters. Due to its successful run in film festivals, it is now being re-released. For those who didn’t catch this gem the first time around, now’s your chance.

Holdovers
Among holdovers, last Friday’s release “Joker” will keep dominating local cinemas with maximum number of shows. Apart from “Joker”, the local release of last Friday, “Daal Chaawal” enters its second week with considerable number of shows at almost all major multiplexes.

Other holdovers include “Rambo: Last Blood”, “IT: Chapter Two”, “Hobbs and Shaw”, “The Lion King”, “Abominable” and three local Eid-ul-Azha released titles, “Heer Maan Ja”, “Superstar”, and “Parey Hut Love”.
