Kaaf Kangana’s Video Songs Released Online

Sami Khan and Eshal Fayaz starrer romantic drama film, “Kaaf Kangana”, is going to be Khalil-ur-Rehman’s silver screen directorial debut. The movie is penned, produced and helmed by Khalil himself. After a huge success of Khalil-ur-Rehman’s blockbuster movie, “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” as writer, the expectations out of this project are now high. While the Trailer of the film is already a talk of the town these days, four video songs out of movie’s album are just released.

“Jaan-e-Man” by Shafqat Amanat, gives you 90’s vibes. The cinematography and choreography along with Shafqat’s soothing voice create an old school filmi world . The song is composed by Naveed Nashad.

An upbeat item number “Khawabon Mein”, picturized on Neelam Muneer, is an instant chart buster. Neelam looks hot and ethereal and proves to be the apt choice for this number. The song is composed by the talented Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig’s voice adds to vibrancy of the song.  Neelam’s performance and Aima’s voice are complementing each other. Song is choreographed by Lollywood’s ace choreographer of 90’s,  Pappu Samrat.

“Mukka Maar” is another upbeat song from the album featuring Sami Khan, Ayesha Omer and Abi Khan where Ayesha Omer is playing just a passive role during the song. The song is a portrayal of the movie’s theme i.e, India-Pakistan rivalry, all in a fun way. Although the song could have been picturized in a much better way, but the tune and lyrics are definitely catchy. The song is sung by Jabar Abbas and Zafar Fani whereas composition is done by Naveed Nashad.

Bina Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s “Mul Vickda” has to be our favourite from the audio album. In the video, Sami Khan is seen singing and dancing in the midst of local folks at a set probably depicting Rajasthan, India from what the costumes suggest. Had it been released properly and on right time, the song could have played a role in film’s marketing. The composition of the song is done by Sahir Ali Bhagga.

The songs of the movie are penned by Khalil-ur-Rehman himself and photography is helmed by Adil Askari. Videos of these songs might leave people divided. While some will find the videos of songs to be orthodox, others might find them to be nostalgic for displaying visuals that remind them of 90s and early 2000’s Lollywood and Bollywood. In any case, audio album of film deserves to be applauded.

“Kaaf Kangana” is all set to hit the cinemas on 25th October.
