EXCLUSIVE: Mahira Khan to Star opposite Fahad Mustafa in “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad”

Filmwala Pictures’ next film “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad” is already one major film of next year that we all are equally excited for. And with each development, this Nabeel Qureshi’s film is becoming the most exciting feature of 2020.

Recently the makers confirmed Fahad Mustafa for male lead of the film and that didn’t come off as a surprise considering the equation the “Load Wedding” actor shares with the filmmaker duo. The female lead, however had not been announced and we all were anticipating whether the duo will stick to Mehwish or we will get to see someone else opposite Fahad this time. To put an end to our curiosity, Fizza Ali Meerza, the producer and co-writer of the film, finally unveiled the name of female lead, in an exclusive conversation with Pakistani Cinema, and it came off as a delight to learn that this time its going to be none other than Mahira Khan.

Here we remind you that it’s not going to be the first time that Mahira Khan will be seen in a Nabeel and Fizza’s film as the superstar earlier had a cameo appearance in 2016’s “Actor in Law” by the same filmmakers. However, it will be the first time that we will see her doing the lead in a Nabeel Qureshi’s film. Also it’s going to be the first time that Mahira and Fahad will be sharing the silver screen together. Their fans always wanted to see these two superstars together in a project but for one reason or another, it couldn’t happen, until now. Both the stars were always found praising each other and at many occasions both had expressed their wish of working together. And finally, it’s happening for all of us.

With this project, next year is going to be a very happening one for Khan as her “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is also expected to release in the first half of next year. And with “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad”, Mahira now has two biggest film projects of next year on her plate.

Film is scheduled to go on floors in December and is slated for Eid-ul-Azha release.
