Earlier we exclusively updated you about Jameel Baig and Hassan Zia’s collaborative production starring Saba Qamar and Syed Jibran in major roles, but the other lead actor was yet to be locked.
Now as per sources close to the production, Zahid Ahmed has been roped in for this yet untitled project. According to the source, “a number of actors were considered for this role but finally the producers have mutually agreed upon Zahid Ahmed and the actor has already signed his contract for this project”. This is the same role which earlier Bilal Ashraf was rumored to play.
Zahid Ahmed and Saba have previously worked together for two TV projects. The super talented actors shared the screens for HUM TV’s “Sangat” and ARY Digital’s “Besharam” . Their onscreen chemistry was highly lauded by their fans. Now to have these actors share the screens that too in a film is definitely something to look out for.
Film is written by Mohsin Ali and will be directed by Saqib Khan who will be making his directorial debut in cinema industry with this project. Produced under the banner of Jameel Baig Films and Mastermind Productions, the film is expected to release this year on Eid-ul-Azha.
