“Ehd-e-Wafa” Finale to be Screened in Cinemas on March 14th

The finale of the army themed series Ehd e Wafa is going to be screened in Cinemas Nationwide on March 14th. Like Mere Pass Tum Ho before it, the series has become very popular and holds a lot of potential to rake in profits from a film screening.

Ehd e Wafa is quite similar in its settings and basic story as the iconic Alpha Bravo Charlie. While obviously the legendary status of that series remains, Ehd e Wafa has become a spiritual success or of sorts for the new generation. Due to its considerable success, and mass appeal, its finale may attract a lot of audiences.

The screening the finale is also evidence that cinemas are hemorrhaging money. Since last year Indian films have been banned nationwide, which has eliminated a huge portion of profits. Also, the lack of steady local releases across the year has hurt the local film industry. The ban on Zindagi Tamasha has left 2020 completely barren until now.

In this situation, cinema owners can’t be faulted for wanting to screen television finales on their screens.
