It’s a source of great pride that Baaji will be part of the Official Selection at the UK Asian Film Festival. UKAFF, also known as Tongues On Fire, is the longest running festival for cinema from South Asia, outside India. @baajithefilm will be part of an excellent line up of features, shorts and documentaries at the festival. For those of you in the London, Stockton and Glasgow areas who have been wanting to see Baaji, this is a great opportunity. #baaji #tonguesonfire #UKAsianFilmFestival
While “Zindagi Tamasha’s” local theatrical release is delayed the film had its world premier earlier at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival last year, where it was awarded the top fiction prize. Wheras acclaimed flick “Baaji” has had an award winning screening at 7th Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF), DC South Asian Film Festival in the United States and Vancouver International South Asian Film.
The festival is all set to take place from 25th March to 5th April. Its good to see our cinema being recognized at these acclaimed film festivals which only appeared a dream once.
