Pakistani Movies To Be Premiered on TV This Eid

While this Eid Pakistani cinephiles don’t have any new film to catch at cinema screens owing to the pandemic, many of the most celebrated flicks from recent years will find their world TV premieres this Eid Ul Azha.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon

After a long wait the 2018 aerial combat war romantic film “Parwaz Hai Junoon” is all set to grace TV screens this Eid. The tribute to Pakistan Air force is well thought of effort at connecting on the patriotic level while providing some paisa wasool entertainment and passable action. The film had an ensemble cast with Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Amir, Ahad Raza Mir and Shamoon Abbasi on board. The film’s music felt fresh and contributed immensely to its overall setting with late legendary lyricist Sohail Rana penning most of its songs. Parey Hut Love

Asim Raza upped his game as a director in his second big screen outing, Parey Hut Love last year. The romantic comedy based loosely on the classic Four Weddings and a Funeral stars Sheheryar Munawar, Maya Ali and legendary Nadeem Baig in pivotal roles and has a cameo appearance by Mahira Khan. The film is a perfect visual treat with high production value and lighthearted entertainment. Catch the out and out Eid entertainer on 1st day of Eid on ARY at 8 PM.

Sherdil

Another Pakistan Air force film to have world TV premiere on Eid is Sherdil. The 2019 action film directed by Azfar Jafri opened from mixed to negative reviews and managed decent boxoffice numbers. The film staring Meekal Zulfiqar, Armeena Rana Khan, Hassan Niazi and Sabeeka Imam in major roles is all set to premiere on ARY on 3rd day of Eid at 9 PM.

Wajood

Jawed Sheikh’s directorial comeback revenge thriller Wajood is finally hitting the TV screens this Eid on Geo TV. The film stars Danish Taimoor, Saeeda Imtiaz and Indian actress Aditi Singh in pivotal roles. Other cast of the film includes Nadeem Baig, Ali Saleem and Jawed Sheikh himself. Catch the film on Geo TV on 3rd day of Eid at 10 pm.

Record

Branded as experimental horror film “Record” is based on a documentary film maker’s attempt at investigating a paranormal site. Directed by Azam Khan its Pakistan’s first paranormal reality movie staring fresh faces Sarah Asghar, Inayat Khan, Mahrukh Rizvi and Faisal Akhar. If you want to add some chills and thrills to your Eid experience watch the movie on Eid day 3 on Express TV at 9 PM.

In addition to these movies you can watch “The Donkey King” on 1st day of Eid on Geo TV at 10 PM. “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” on Eid Day 1 at 1 PM on ARY Digital, and ” Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2″ will also be reappearing on ARY Digital, Eid day 2 at 5:30 PM.
