Crime-thriller is a genre that is less explored by Pakistani filmmakers but with “Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer” and a few other upcoming projects, an inclination of filmmakers towards this exciting genre can be observed. One such upcoming project stars Usman Mukhtar and Ushna Shah in lead roles.
According to Brandsynario, Usman will be seen playing a police officer while Ushna will be essaying the role of a cricketer in this upcoming crime-thriller. Film will be directed by Zaheer-ud-Din who has previously worked on many TVCs. Film is already on the floors and the shoot will wrap around the end of January.
Usman Mukhtar is flying high these days over the success of ‘Hum Kahan Kay Sachy Thay’. He will also be seen this year in Azfar Jafri directed film ‘Umro Ayyar’. Ushna Shah, on the hand, is basking in success of blockbuster serial ‘Parizaad’. The actress is currently in Belarus to shoot an ad with Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. It certainly will be exciting to see both these talented actors share the screen for the first time.
