Breaking: Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s ‘Kaaf Kangana’ Quits the Eid Race

Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s passionate project “Kaaf Kangana” has been in news most of the time this year for some good and some not so good reasons. The film is based on a cross border love story that stretches from partition era to the present times.

The film was announced to release on Eidul Azha along with Asim Raza’s “Parey Hut Love”, Momina Duraid’s “Superstar” and Imran Raza Kazmi’s “Heer Maan Ja”. While all the other three films had already paced up their promotional campaigns by releasing songs and conducting interviews now on every other day, there was a complete silence from the team of “Kaaf Kangana” which had already made the trade to doubt on film’s release on Eid. And finally, the cat is out of the bag with the news that film now will not release on this coming Eid.

New Release Date:

The news of film’s not releasing on Eid was made public by Humayun Saeed last night through an instagram post. Humayun wished the writer of his blockbuster film “Punjab Nahi Janugi”, all the best for the release of the film and also announced the new release date of “Kaaf Kangana” which is October 25.

Reason for Delay:

According to a news portal Entertainment Pakistan, the reason described by Khalil for this postponement is that the maker is aiming for a simultaneous worldwide release which right now seems difficult due to some unforeseen delay in film’s overseas release.

Kaaf Kangana” stars Sami Khan, Eshal Fayyaz, Ayesha Omer, Sajid Hassan and Fizza Ali in major roles.
