Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday inaugurated the Kartarpur Corridor enabling a visa free entrance of Sikh pilgrims to Baba Guru Nanak’s shrine in Punjab, Pakistan. The 3 km Corridor connects Gurdaspur in Indian Punjab to Narowal in Punjab, Pakistan where Gurdwara Darbar Sahib (shrine) of founder of Sikhism is located.
The project being referred as ”Corridor of Peace” between India and Pakistan was completed in a record period of 11 months. Imran Khan at the beginning of his tenure had promised opening of the corridor and is being hailed all over for this gesture of peace.
Not just Sikhs from all over the world are ecstatic but general public from both sides of border is praising this step taken by Pakistan. Pakistani celebrities also came up to laud the Prime Minister for portraying positive image of the country worldwide. Here are all the tweets from celebs hailing Imran Khan and at the same time condemning India’s unjust actions in Kashmir and Indian Supreme Court’s verdict on Babri Mosque case on the same day of the opening of Kartarpur Corridor.

As the #KartarpurCorridor opens, #Pakistan has won my heart. What a win for diplomacy and a lesson for the subcontinent. Respect and tolerance for each other is the only message that should echo in the region. Congratulations Pakistan!
