With the prevailing Covid situation which has halted all activities of filmdom, Pakistani Cine lovers might not be having any fresh content to watch but thanks to the Eid many of the films from recent times saw their TV premieres. Now two more Pakistani movies “Salute” and “Durj” are available for streaming online.
Initially released in 2016 “Salute” is a biographical on the life of young martyr Aitzaz Hasan who prevented a suicide bomber to detonate a bomb in his school saving many lives. Directed by Shahzad Rafique the film staring Ali Mohtesham, Saima Noor and Ajab Gul in lead roles is now available for streaming on Youtube.

2019 mystery thriller film “Durj” marked Pakistani films pioneering descent into movies on dark subjects. The film based on the subject of Cannibalism is a proverbial door opener for taboo subjects in our films. Staring the convincing Shamoon Abbasi as cannibal Gul Baksh, his crime partner Sherry Shah as Laali and Maira Khan as psychiatrist the film based on true events is now available for streaming on Vidly.tv
