Celebrities React to “Javed Iqbal” Trailer: Kubra, Faysal Quraishi, Hania and Ali Rehman are All Blown Away

 

 

The trailer of “Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer” dropped yesterday and it would be fair to say that the nearly 2-minute long preview has generated quite a bit of hype on social media. The upcoming biopic starring Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omer offers an introspective look at the confessions and psychology of the notorious serial killer who handed himself over to the police in 1999.

Celebs chimed in their responses once the clip went viral yesterday. Most were excited by the upcoming film even if the trailer made a few of them slightly uneasy.

Hania Amir posted “Kya baat hai!!! It’s going to be amazing InshaAllah.”

Kubra Khan sounded just as ecstatic as she wrote “You blew it out of the park. I got goosebumps and fright at the same time.”

Amar Khan praised Yasir, saying “You have never looked so powerful on screen.”


Actor Hassan Hayat Khan posted “I am so excited for this!!! What a brilliant look and whatttay feel.”

Ali Rehman Khan was just as stoked. The “Janaan” star wrote on his social media: “This looks so good. You are frightening @yasir.hussain131. All the best guys, can’t wait!.”

Gohar Rasheed wished the team “Best of Luck”

“Kamal kar dia, epic,” wrote Shazia Wajahat on her Instagram story.

Journalist Sadiq Saleem thought “This looked so good and scary! Will make a good watch.”

Designer Asim Jofa posted a congratulatory “Bravo” on his Instagram story.

Actor Asad Siddiqui wrote: “This is some crazy shit!! All the best to the entire team.”

In his Instagram story addressed to Yasir Hussain, star Faysal Quraishi wrote: “Wish you all the best, aap jab karty hain kamal karty hain. I am sure it’s going to be a super hit. Allah kamyab kary.”

“Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer” is written and directed by Abu Aleeha and is produced by Javed Ahmed Kakepoto. It is scheduled to release on December 24.
