The Romcom… ‘Babylicious’
Fans of Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari have all the reasons to rejoice as the film will air on Green Entertainment on Eid ul Azha, Day 1 at 8 PM.
The IG post of Green read, “This Eid ul Azha, get ready for a delightful treat! Join us for the television premiere of Babylicious, where laughter and love collide in the most heartwarming rom-com of the season.”
Directed and written by Essa Khan, ‘Babylicious’ was released theatrically on Eid-ul-Azha, 2023. The plot centers around a hopeless romantic who takes on the world to break up his ex-girlfriend’s wedding and win her back.
The Sports Drama… ‘Nayab’
Yumna Zaidi’s cinematic debut ‘Nayab’ received critical acclaim. The film was released in cinemas on January 26, 2024. According to EPK, the film collected 1.6 crores at the domestic box office.
As per the official IG page of ‘Nayab’, its TV premiere is scheduled on the first day of Eid ul Azha, at 8 pm on HUM.
For the unversed, ‘Nayab’ received the prestigious ‘Best Foreign Film’ and ‘Best First Time Filmmaker’ awards at the World Film Festival in Cannes. The film also stars, Usama Khan, M Fawad Khan, Noreen Gulwani, Javed Sheikh, Huma Nawab, Ehteshamuddin & Adnan Siddiqui.
