After the release of Bengali horror film “Mona: Jinn 2” in April this year, another film from Bangladesh is all set to release in Pakistan. The Bangladeshi blockbuster film “Toofan”, released in Bangladesh on Eid-ul-Azha this year, is releasing cinemas across Pakistan on November 1.
Starring superstar Shakib Khan in lead role, “Toofan” is a crime action thriller film that revolves around a gangster in 90’s Bangladesh. Film is written and directed by Raihan Rafi.
“Toofan” is currently the highest grossing Bangladeshi film with a worldwide gross of 56 crore BDT, surpassing the lifetime gross of 42 crore BDT of Shakib Khan’s own “Priyotoma” from last year, continuing the actor’s supremacy at Bangladeshi box office.
“Toofan” is already been passed by Pakistan’s Central Board of Film Censors. An image of censor certificate for film’s trailer has been posted by EPK.
“Toofan” will be released in Pakistan by Eveready Pictures.
