Electrifying Performances
For the unversed, there had been a lot of shuffling in the cast when the project was announced. As of now what we get to see is simply commendable. Hamza Ali Abbasi is on fire. He transforms into Batish effortlessly. One can feel the terror when he is at work performing his bad deeds. On the contrary, love is in the air when he shares the screen with Mamya Shajaffar. Mamya looks stunning and performs well.
Ahmed Ali Akbar is on roll. He is getting the roles that an actor of his caliber deserves to do. Performance wise he is superb. Danyal Zafar is a big surprise, he is confident and plays his part with panache. Had he worked on his Pashto diction a bit more, it would have been flawless. ‘Gentleman’ and now ‘Faraar’, Sohai Ali Abro is having a great second innings. She rocks the show and gets into the skin of her character perfectly. Salman Saeed who plays Batish’s junior puts up a decent act. It was great to see Nadia Jamil back on screen. She was just amazing. Noor-ul-Hassan is dependable as always. Merub Ali makes a late entry but is lovely to watch.
