Tom Cruise starrer “Top Gun: Maverick” released globally this weekend and has launched to a blockbuster start at box office. The sequel to 1986 release “Top Gun” has minted $134 million from North American market over the weekend.
The film also opened to a solid start in Pakistan. According to trade analyst Ali Zain, it launched in Pakistani market with 1.09 crore PKR on Friday (including 22 lacs PKR from Thursday previews). On Saturday and Sunday it collected 1.24 crore PKR and 1.14 crore PKR, respectively. It has raked in a total of 3.47 crore PKR over the weekend at Pakistani box office.
