Pakistani Cinema had previously reported its readers about Pakistan’s first Netflix original with Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Hania Amir and Hamza Ali Abbasi on board. The latest on the project is that it’s extended cast has been revealed by Variety yesterday.
Joining the cast alongside Mahira and Fawad are Sanam Saeed, who previously worked with Fawad in the Zindagi series Barzakh, and Ahad Raza Mir, known for his role in the Netflix series Resident Evil. The ensemble also includes Hamza Ali Abbasi, Bilal Ashraf, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Hania Aamir, Khushaal Khan, Nadia Jamil, Omair Rana, and Samina Ahmed.
The series is an official adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s famous 2013 novel “Jo Bache Hain Sang Samait Lo” and is produced by Momina Duraid Films. Variety reported that the commission is by the Netflix Middle East and North Africa team.
According to Variety, the show will be shot in Italy, the U.K. and Pakistan whereas it’s streaming date on the OTT giant isn’t known yet.
