Fawad Khan’s ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ To Release in Indian Theatres This September!

Pakistani films releasing in India is a rare phenomenon and off course a cherishing moment for moviegoers. Mahira Khan starrer “Bin Roye” was the last Pakistani movie outing in India in 2015.

After 13 years, Fawad Khan’s blockbuster film ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ is expected to be released in Indian cinemas on September 20. As per reports by Indian media, Zee Studios is planning a theatrical release on 20th September. Fawad Khan fans, who have long awaited the film’s release in India, will find this news exciting.

For the unversed, ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ was earlier scheduled to release in India on December 2022. However, it was canceled due to opposition from Hindu far-right groups and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

Directed by Bilal Lashari, the film was originally released worldwide on October 13, 2022. The magnum opus was received well by critics and audiences alike. Not only that, it was a triumph at the global box office too. Featuring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, and Humaima Malik, ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ is a remake of the 1979 classic ‘Maula Jatt’.
