Shaan Shahid is coming back to the big screen in the action packed film “Bullah”. The teaser trailer of the film has just been released and it features a lot of brutal action.
While the teaser doesn’t give away any plot points, the story seems to revolve around a huge mafia or syndicate that torture, maim and kill anyone that gets in their way. The narration describes this world as a jungle in which lions, tigers, wolves, and foxes all want to rule.
Through the blood splattered frames, the trailer announces that this is an “Epic Saga” as the names of the various gang leaders and dons anoint the screen.
The film looks slick and technically well made. This might be Shaan Shahid’s first major hit in a long time. After 2013’s “Waar” which kickstarted the new age for Pakistani film industry, none of his films have quite matched up to that success. “Bullah” may change that.
The film stars Shaan Shahid, Sara Loren, Adnan Butt, Naeema Butt, and Saleem Sheikh. It’s been a while since Saleem Sheikh has been on the big screen.
The film has been written by screenwriting legend Nasir Adeeb Sahab and it’s directed by Shoaib Khan. This is the director’s second feature after 2018’s Jackpot.
“Bullah” hits theaters on Eid Ul Fitr 2026.
