The writer of the super hit drama serial Mere Paas tum ho, Khalil-ur-Rehman, has been all over the news these days due to his views about feminism and actors and actresses in the industry which hurt the sentiments of not only the audience but also the people in the industry and one of those was the actress and the host, Iffat Omer, who called out Khalil-ur-Rehman for his remarks over the people in the industry.
She publically slammed the writer for making such harsh comments about senior artists including Saba Hameed saying “Khalil ur Rehman has dissed our senior veteran actors publicly. How dare he talk this way about someone who has spent their whole lives in this industry! You cannot say just about anything that comes to your mind.”
She also went on to criticize his recently written movie Kaaf Kangana “He wasted ISPR’s money on Kaaf Kangana. He has wasted tax payers’ money! He should be held accountable for that. It was such a low-quality film. So yes I suggested ISPR that there should be a ban on this man temporarily.”
However it seems its all sorted out between the writer and the actress as according to recent news broke by Epk, Iffat Omer has now joined the cast of Khalil ur Rehman’s movie London Nahi Januga along with Saba Hameed who too had been at a verbal fight with the writer.
This sure must have come after some apology between the two.
London Nahi Jaunga started its shoot recently and is to be shot in London and Pakistan in two spells. The movie is expected to release on Eid-ul-Azha. London Nahi Jaunga is the most anticipated movie of the year because of the blockbuster trio of Nadeem Baig as a Director, Khalil ur Rehman the writer and Humayun Saeed as a leading actor.
