Hum Films has released the teaser of ‘Khan Tumhara’ starring Bilal Ashraf and Maya Ali. An Action film that is poised to be the biggest money spinner of 2026, “Khan Tumhara” seems to be made on a big budget, with a large portion dedicated to visual effects and action set pieces.
The teaser features Bilal Ashraf as “Yusuf Khan”, wading through a frozen landscape, wrapped in a shawl that half covers his face, waxing lyrical about his duty to walk a sacred line and free a land of misery from its oppressors.
His speech is followed by a barrage of sequences featuring a drifting taxi, hand-to-hand combat, and gunfire; ending with Maya Ali firing a sniper rifle.
It’ll be interesting to see what this film adds to Pakistan’s film history. Action sequences have been improving since ‘Waar’ (2013), and reached their zenith with the final fight in ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ (2022). Last year, with ‘Umro Ayyar’, Pakistan also made strides in special effects, with fantastical sequences of Jinns and sorcery.
‘Khan Tumhara’ has a tall order to follow.
We hope it spins a lot of money and brings in a lot of firsts for Pakistani cinema.
