“The Glassworker” Passes PKR 3 Crore at the Local Box Office

“The Glassworker” has crossed another milestone at the local box office. After a solid debut week of 1.7 crore PKR, the local anime movie with its encouraging hold over the box office has now grossed over PKR 3 Cr and is still going strong. The film has captured a niche audience and has received acclaim all over from critics and audiences alike.

Since its theatrical release on the 23^rd of July, the film has steadily built up revenue and gotten an incredible response from its target audience. Usman Riaz and his team have been seen interacting with fans all over the country.

The film also opens this Saturday, 17^th August at the Hiroshima Animation Festival. It is in competition for Best Film. There are plans for a further theatrical release in Japan later this year.

The Glassworker is playing in cinemas across the country.
