Exclusive: GEO Acquires Satellite Rights for “Wrong Number 2”, will also Serve as Media Partner

Geo has always been an ideal network when it comes to promoting films since the beginning of “Revival of cinema in Pakistan”. From “Khuda Kay Liye” and “Mohabbatan Sachiyan” to “Bol” and then last year’s “Teefa in Trouble” and “The Donkey King”, the network has wholeheartedly supported Cinema in the country and has demonstrated mastery in pulling audiences to the cinema without a festival holiday and giving creative voices a platform.

The latest on Geo is that the network has now partnered with YNH productions for their upcoming laugh riot “Wrong No. 2” as a media partner. Not only that, but the network has already bought the satellite rights to the film at a whopping PKR 10 Million. The announcement was made by producer of the film, Hassan Zia, while speaking exclusively to Pakistani Cinema.

Produced by collaboration of YHN productions and Distribution Club (IMGC), “Wrong Number 2” is directed by Yasir Nawaz and stars Neelum Muneer and Sami Khan in titular roles along with Yasir Nawaz, Javed Sheikh, Yashma Gill and Danish Nawaz.

“Wrong Number 2” is slated for release this year on Eid-ul-Fitr and will be distributed in cinemas across Pakistan by Distribution Club.
