“Top Gun: Maverick” continues minting money at global box office and showed unprecedented small drop over the second weekend. Film has generated $86 millions from North American market over the second weekend, taking its 10 days total in the market to $291 millions.
The Tom Cruise starrer has also been doing massive business in Pakistan as well after a solid first week of 5.4 crores PKR. It remained the first choice of cine-goers over the weekend and managed to rake in 2.68 crore PKR over the second weekend. According to trade analyst Ali Zain, the film collected 64 lacs on second Friday, and then went on to hit 1 crore ceiling on Saturday by collecting 1.08 crore PKR and locked the Sunday close to 1 crore by collecting 98 lacs PKR.
Film has so far made 8.08 crore in ten days from Pakistani market and is on its way to cross 10 crore PKR milestone. Film will lose many of its shows this weekend due to the release of “Jurassic World Dominion” but due to the positive reviews and the repeat value of film, it will continue to have legs in third week as well.
