Shamoon Abbasi’s “Durj” was slated for release on Oct 18 across Pakistan. The film based on the subject of cannibalism found itself at the mercy of the federal censor board. However, on Shamoon’s appeal to review the film again, the federal censor board after the second reviewing of film, has allowed the film to release in Pakistan.
“Durj” after getting approval from the censor board, is now releasing one week late in Pakistan on 25th October. This is the same date on which Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar’s film “Kaaf Kangana” is slated for release. Now the movie buffs of local cinema will have two options the coming weekend.
