‘Aag Lagay Basti Mein’ has crossed the PKR 100 crore mark worldwide. At last count in mid-April, the film had collected approximately PKR 86 crore. Its sustained run at the box office, even beyond Eid ul Adha, has proven to be extremely fruitful.
The film is still playing in select theatres, so you might still find shows at your local cinema today. It’s safe to say, ALBM has proven to be a consistent crowd-puller.
According to the makers, the Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan starrer has so far grossed PKR 101.06 crore worldwide. Of this, overseas collections account for over PKR 31 crore.
Unadjusted for inflation, the film now stands as the second highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time, after ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’.
