Pakistani actors now seem to have grabbed attention of international production houses. Previously Sajal Aly bagged a role in ‘What Love Has Got to Do With It’ and Fawad Khan in ‘Ms. Marvel’, now Humayun Saeed has also been confirmed to star in acclaimed Netflix’s show ‘The Crown’. Humayun Saeed will be seen in fifth season of the show and with this, he has become the first Pakistani actor to star in a Netflix show.
Humayun will be playing the role of British-Pakistani surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan, the love interest of Princess Diana. Hasnat Khan, in his statement to metropolitan police back in 2004, stated that he was in relationship with Diana from 1995 to 1997 and that she broke up with him after she met Dodi Fayed.
