Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar have reunited for an upcoming film titled “Taxali”. This would be their third film together after “Karachi Sey Lahore” (2015) and their unreleased film “Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer”.

A few days back Ayesha posted her stills from the film, revealing her first look from this project that is set in Lahore. Now Yasir Hussain has also shared a still from the film on his Instagram account, revealing his look for the character of “Shafique urf Sheeqa”.

The film is written and directed by Abu Aleeha and this is the second film of both leads with the filmmaker. Their first film together, “Javed Iqbal”, is now also releasing in June with a new title “Kukri” which is actually the title of book the film is based on.
Besides Yasir and Ayesha, the cast of “Taxali” also includes Mehr Bano, Umar Alam, Iffat Omar, Babar Ali, Sheheryar Cheema, Iftikhar Thakur and Nayyer Ejaz. The shoot of the film has been wraped and it is scheduled for release on Eidul-Azha this year.
