Khushhal Khan Khattak’s debut film “Poppay Ki Wedding” released in cinemas on May 10. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and the box office report is also not encouraging either.
According to Entertainment Pakistan (EPK), film has collected a total of 70 lacs PKR over the 10 days till second Sunday. Going by the trends at box office and the number of shows film has been allocated in second week, any progress from now on will be an uphill task.
While film has been wiped out completely from two or three screen cineplexes, it got 3 shows per day at CUE Cinemas (Lahore), Universal Cinemas (Lahore) and Cinepax Cinemas (Rawalpindi). At other major locations like Centaurus Cineplex (Islamabad), Atrium Cinemas (Karachi) and two locations of Nueplex Cinemas (Karachi), film is running with just one show per day this week.
