Ahad Raza Mir is one of those few actors from Pakistani media industry’s current lot who have managed to create waves globally. Shot to fame in no time with HUM TV’s “Yaqeen Ka Safar”( 2017), Ahad was then part of Networks’ many major projects, from feature film “Parwaaz Hai Junoon” (2018) to drama serials like “Aangan” (2018), “Ehd e Wafa”(2019) and “Yeh Dil Mera” (2019). His last was a Ramazan special comedy series “Hum Tum” (2022), again with HUM TV.
During his absence from Pakistani television lately, Ahad was busy with his international projects like “Resident Evil” for Netflix and “World On Fire” Season 2 for BBC One. He also returned to Canadian theatre, from where he started his acting career, with an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”.
Now after a gap of more than two years, Ahad Raza Mir is all set to return to Pakistani television screens with HUM TV’s upcoming project “Meem Se Muhabbat”. He will be seen sharing screen with “Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri” star, Dananeer Mobeen.
“Meem Se Muhabbat” is written by Farhat Ishtiaq and it will be Ahad’s third project of Farhat after “Yaqeen Ka Safar” and “Yeh Dil Mera”. The serial is directed by “Fairy Tale” director Ali Hassan. Produced by Momina Duraid, filming of the project has already begun and it will air on screens later this year.
