Recipient of “Sitara i Imtiaz” and “Pride of Performance”, the legendary actor of TV and Cinema, Mr. Qavi Khan passed away yesterday on March 5 in Canada at the age of 80 after a brief illness.
Entire entertainment industry of Pakistan mourns the demise of iconic actor. Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Shaan Shahid, Ali Zafar, Adnan Siddiqui, Faysal Qureshi, Aijaz Aslam, Feroze Khan, Ali Rehman, Wahaj Ali, Sohail Ahmed, Vasay Chaudhry, Osman Khalid Butt, Nabeel Qureshi, Imran Ashraf and others took to their social media handles to express their grief.
An icon, an inspiration, an institute… Qavi sahab taught so many of us not just how to act but also how to embrace our passion by dedicating his own entire life to his one true love – acting. May Allah bless his soul
