Netflix’s popular fantasy series ‘The Witcher’ to conclude with season 5. The streamer announced on Wednesday that it has ordered fifth (and final) season of the series.
The production for Season 4 of the Geralt of Rivia saga has already begin. The fourth season will see Liam Hemsworth taking over the role of Geralt from Henry Cavil. The fourth and fifth seasons of the series will be shot back to back.
“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Andrzej Sapkowski’s books to an epic and satisfying conclusion. It wouldn’t be our show if we didn’t push our family of characters to their absolute limit — stay tuned to see how the story ends”, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich said in a statement.
