Faisal Qureshi all set to make Big screen comeback

Watching your favourite stars shine on the big screen is always a delight and every fan looks forward to it. While the revival of Pakistani film industry has seen many of the TV actors set the big screen on fire, biggest among them being Humayun Saeed, fans of the most versatile TV actor Faysal Qureshi have been eagerly waiting for his big screen comeback. The wait however is’nt going to last long now as news has it that ace director Sohail Javaid has cast Faysal Qureshi in his upcoming directorial debut film.

Sohail Javed’s name isn’t new to Pakistani showbiz industry. From his classy music videos in 90’s to recently released title song “Tilley wali juti” of JPNA 2 where he donned the director’s cap, the director has impressed us time and again.

Sohail shared his plans for the upcoming project starring Faysal Qureshi, which is going to be the actor’s comeback to silver screen in a major role after more than a decade. Faysal was last seen in a cameo role in Sarmad Khoosat’s directed “Manto” in 2015. According to details revealed so far the film is going to be a love story, but not just a rom-com at all but a serious story acceptable even to the commercial cinema lovers.

Faysal and Sohail, apart form being friends in real life, have already collaborated multiple times in the past so the collaboration between the two talented artists on such an important project comes as a natural move. What’s interesting however is that this time the duo is up to “something, the audiences have not seen before”, as claimed by Sohail.

The film is going on floors this December with its release date yet to be announced.
