EXCLUSIVE::: Sami Khan signs “Lufangay” opposite Sonya Hussain

Yes, you read it right. The talented hunk Sami Khan and the Moor beauty Sonya Hussain have been roped in for Friday Film Studios’s upcoming film project titled Lufangay.

Sami Khan, a versatile actor who started his cinematic career with 2004 romantic action hit Salakhein ,is making his big screen comeback in a never before seen way when we are talking about comebacks of actors who went on a cinematic sabbatical, courtesy the steep decline in film making in early 2000s. The actor will be reappearing on our screens with not just one or two but three back to back films. The Aisi ha Tanhai  star is already about to wrap up the shoot for Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s film Kaaf Kangana and with Wrong Number 2 about to go on floors, Lufangay, will be his third silver screen project for 2019. Seems like Sami is on roller coaster ride with his plate fuller than any of his contemporaries. The leading lady of Lufangay will be none other than Soniya who on the other hand has just recently signed Sohail Javed’s film Sorry after her critically acclaimed stint in film like Moor followed by her eye candy role in Eid-ul-Fitr release Azaadi . This is going to be her fourth film.

Pertinent for us is to remind you that Sami and Sonya have shared screen space together earlier this year in a super hit TV serial Aisi Hai Tanhai which made headlines for its Taboo subject, namely Cyber Bullying. Keeping in mind their applaud worthy performances and their supremely convincing chemistry in the above mentioned serial, we are genuinely excited to see what this hit onscreen couple has in store for us, this time around. Produced by Tariq Habib Rind, Lufangay’ s script is written by Abdul Khaaliq Khan and will be directed by Khan himself.
