It seems like the cast of ARY Films, Urwa Hussain and Farhan Saeed’s joint production “Tich Button” seems to be getting bigger by the day. While many were bowled over when news broke that Iman Ali was going to be seen in action in the film after a hiatus of over three years, the latest is that “Moor” starlet Sonya Hussyn has joined the star-studded cast as the other female lead, according to sources.
The Karachi-based actress has been going places off late, landing the prized role of the female lead in HUM TV’s period-drama “Aangan” and also signing a couple of notable films, among them being Sohail Javed’s debut production “Sorry”. Having begun her career from television, Sonya debuted on silver-screen with Jami Mahmood’s “Moor” and then appeared last year in the Eid-ul-Fitr tent-pole from ARY Films “Azaadi” where her performance was much appreciated, although she had a limited role.
While the story of “Tich Button” is still under wraps, we have learnt from reliable sources that film will go on floors during the latter part of this month. While we are not sure how the production turns out, with names such as Feroze Khan, Iman Ali and Sonya Hussyn on its acting credits, we can be certain that this Qasim Mureed’s directed movie will not disappoint in terms of performances.
