One of the prominent local animated films from last year, “Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor” gets its digital release and that too on Netflix.
The news was shared by the maker of film Uzair Zaheer Khan on his social media handle. While speaking to Pakistani Cinema, Uzair expressed his joy with “I’m glad that more people will get to see it and hopefully enjoy it”.
“Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor” was released last year in cinemas on 2nd of February and raked in around 57 million pkr from its theatrical run, making it third highest grossing animated film of the year at Pakistani box office, following “The Donkey King” and “3 Bahadur: Rise of the Warriors”. Film later had its television premiere on ARY Digital and just recently on 24th of April it got released on Netflix and is now available to watch online.
