Exclusive: “The Donkey King” Climbs the Box Office Ladder in South Korea

Pakistan’s most successful animated feature film, “The Donkey King”, has made its way to the South Korean market. The film’s dubbed version was released in South Korea on Wednesday, August 28, along with the Bollywood hit of last year, “Andhadhun”.

While “Andhadhun” launched with a good start of 14,801$, taking the 12th spot on the box office chart, “The Donkey King” opened to a lukewarm start with 3,920$ and ranked at the 23rd spot.

However, our ‘Donkey Raja’ has been climbing the South Korean box office ladder since then. On Sunday “Andhadhun” slipped to the 14th spot while “The Donkey King” made a huge jump to the 15th position. The film has seen a phenomenal upward trend over Saturday and Sunday, which promises a good lifetime gross.
