Yasir Hussain Signs His Next Film, ‘Half Fry’

Yasir Hussain is an actor who always manages to stay in news for his tongue in cheek witty statements that mire him in controversies. However lately, the actor has been in news for his upcoming projects. Recently we updated our readers on the news that Yasir Hussain has joined the cast of Azeem Sajjad’s film “Chaudhary” where he will be seen playing the role of a journalist.

Now the latest is that Yasir has signed another film titled “Half Fry”. Sources have revealed that Yasir will be seen playing a very different character in this commercial entertainer. So now with “Chaudhry” and “Half Fry”, the actor has got two different projects with diverse roles on his plate for the year 2020.

“Half Fry” is a film written, produced and directed by Abu Aleeha, who previousely has made two films, titled “Kataksha” and “Tevar” and released both the films this year in a record time. Both his films were low in budget and generated a decent revenue at box office. The third film however is said to be a pole apart from his previous two projects, both in terms of production value and the commercial aspect.

Film is said to be an all in all entertainer with elements of comedy, romance, action and some dance numbers. Complete cast of the film is yet to be locked but for now, Yasir Hussain, Faizan Khawaja, Faryal Mehmood and Saleem Meraj have been signed for the film.

“Half Fry” will go on floors soon and will release in cinemas in 2020.
