Vasay Chaudhry holds the record of being the only writer in the revived cinema who has given three consecutive box office hits, i-e, “Main Hoon Shahid Afridi”, “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani” and “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2”. All of these films were written for Humayun Saeed’s production company, Sixth Sigma Plus. While his next script for the same production, “Love You Jatta” has been postponed for an indefinite time period, the writer is geared up for his next film scripts.
Vasay, after writing “Love You Jatta”, had moved on to “Love Guru, Ho Ja Shuru” which is a comedy film. Script of this film is almost complete and it’s expected to go on floors before or after Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s script “London Nahi Jaunga”, as these two are the scheduled titles by Sixth Sigma Plus for year 2020.
That’s not all, as Vasay just recently has revealed about his next script for Hunayun Saeed. Titled “Naram Garam”, the film is an action comedy and like other projects of Sixth Sigma, it will be directed by Nadeem Baig. Vasay will also be seen playing one of the lead roles in this project and so will be returning to cinema screens as actor after JPNA2.
Talking to an entertainment website, Vasay said that he had started writing this project a while ago but had to leave it midway for Love Guru Ho Ja Shuru. In his words, this film “is going to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer with lots of action”.
