Bilal Ashraf and Ali Zafar Feature in Sexiest Asian Men List

With the recent boom in Pakistani cinema industry and the already popular TV culture, Pakistani artists are making a mark globally. Appearance of Mahira Khan on global platforms like Cannes, and Pakistani actors and films being nominated at international film festivals, are an indicative. And just to add, Eastern Eye, the British Asian publication recently published its list of Sexiest Asian Men 2019. And quite unsurprisingly our boys, Bilal Ashraf and Ali Zafar, made it big on the list.

Heartthrob Bilal Ashraf is having stupendous year 2019. After delivering a stellar performance opposite Mahira Khan in “Superstar”, Bilal now has been nominated 7th Sexiest Male in Asia by the renowned publication. Becoming the only Pakistani to feature in the top ten list based on voting, social media popularity and impact.

Bilal expressed his surprise over the nomination and talking to the publication said, “I am beyond humbled to be featured as part of a list among such legendary gentlemen and that, year on year, has generated so much attention globally. This has come to me as an amazing surprise and such moments make the struggle and commitment we all put into our work all worth the while. This encourages me to try my best to further myself in my field. I’m extremely grateful for this recognition”.

He further took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

Bollywood icon Hritik Roshan topped the list. Other names in the list include Tiger Shroff (4), pop sensation Zayn Malik (5) and TV star Harshad Chopda was ranked sixth. The rest of the top 10 for 2019 were actor Mohsin Khan (8), cricketer Virat Kohli (9), and South Indian superstar Prabhas (10).

The publication also enlisted top 10 Asian men of the decade while Hritik Roshan topped this list too, singer and actor Ali Zafar is the only Pakistani artist to be featured on the list at 3rd spot.

Ali expressed his thankfulness: “What can I say. The love bestowed upon me repeatedly over the years is heartwarming. I am just a boy, well now a man, trying to make some art and never thought of myself as the voted icon, nonetheless my profound gratitude to all the fans and the magazine for the honor.”.
