The teaser for the Farhan Saeed, Feroze Khan, Iman Ali and Sonya Hussyn starrer “Tich Button” is now out and it’s nothing short of exhilarating. It features shots of Istanbul, tractors in the village, chase sequences, a train and lots of colours.
Whoever has cut the teaser of this one should be hired to splice together every other teaser for any commercial Pakistani film. It’s the kind of teaser that convinces you at once to go watch the film on opening day. Sure enough, when the “This Eid-ul-Fitr” title popped up on screen, I knew what film I’d be watching on the first Eid night.
Tich Button’s teaser also gives nothing away about plot, characters, music, etc. All it shows you is that you need to go watch this film on opening day. Introductory shots of Farhan Saeed, Feroze Khan, Iman Ali and Sonya Hussyn raise the glamour quotient. Shots of colourful festivals, busy Istanbul Streets and sweeping plains up the adrenaline. It’s clear “Tich Button” is going to be a wild ride.
“Tich Button” is being produced by Urwa Hocane and Jerjees Seja. It’s written by Faiza Iftikhar and is directed by Qasim Ali Mureed. Film releases by ARY Films in cinemas this Eid-ul-Fitr.
