The trailer of “Rehbra”, starring Ayesha Omar and Ahsan Khan finally dropped. The over a two minute trailer offers a slick sneak peak into the romantic comedy without giving much away and manages to leave you intrigued.
The trailer promises a conventional love story with a cheerful Bubbly hailing from Punjab (played by Ayesha Omar) and Danish a handsome and adventurous Karachite (played by Ahsan Khan) coming across each other on a train ride. The two fall in love despite Bubbly already engaged and Danish strangled in a one sided love affair. From light hearted romance between the two, things than appear to get intense in the face of an unforseen twist in the second half of the trailer where a violent villain played by Sohail Sameer makes an entry. What interests his character holds for creating all the fuss for Danish will be something to look out for in the movie. This very twist arouses all the interest in an otherwise run of the mill plot.
Offering all the ingredients of a commercial entertainer like romance, comedy, action and emotions, “Rehbra” is one story we would like to watch getting unleashed on the big screen.
Directed by Amin Iqbal, the movie is produced by a US based Pakistani doctor Saira Afzal and besides Ayesha and Ahsan, it features Sarish Khan and seasoned actors like Saba Faisal, Ghulam Mohiuddin and Sohail Sameer. The film features music by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Asim Azhar, Suvarna Tiwari, and Aishwarya Majmundar.
The movie is set to hit the cinema screens on 24th June.
