Pakistani Cinema earlier updated you about “Joyland” which is set to become the first Pakistani feature film to make it to Cannes Film Festival this year. In addition to that, a short film “Kalashnikov” is also nominated at the prestigious film festival.
Directed by Mehroz Amin and produced under the label of Chal Phir Cinema, “Kalashnikov” sees a washed-up Punjabi film artist from 80’s reminiscing the golden era. The short film is selected in “Cannes Short Film Corner” (Cannes Court Metrage) category.
