There has been news circulating in media circles that a Netflix project has been assigned to a Pakistani production house, Momina Duraid productions precisely. But the project has been kept under the wraps for a long time.
Finally the cat is out of the bag as a media journalist, Hasan Kazmi, shared the news on twitter which was further vouched by another seasoned journalist Mahwash Ajaz. We then contacted sources close to the production house and they have also verified the news.
The project is produced by MD productions and it’s an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo”. Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, the three “The Legend of Maula Jatt” co-stars are said to be re-uniting for this Netflix project and joining them will be Hamza’s “Parwaaz Hai Junoon” co-star, Hania Aamir.
