Initial episodes of Bilal Abbas Khan and Sara Khan starrer drama serial ‘Abdullahpur Ka Devdas’ have already premiered from Indian TV channel Zindagi by Zee network on February 26.
Although there have been Pakistani projects like ‘Enaya’, ‘Churails’, ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ etc, previously produced for Indian OTT platforms like Eros and Zee5, ‘Abdullahpur Ka Devdas’ is first Pakistani production to be made exclusively for Indian television.
With Indian TV channels’ broadcast currently banned across Pakistan, fans of Bilal and Sara from Pakistan were less enthusiastic than those from across the border. However, the latest update on the show is that it will now also release on YouTube so that Pakistani fans can also watch the show of their favourite stars.

Written by Shahid Dogar, the serial is directed by Anjum Shahzad. Besides Bilal Abbas Khan and Sara Khan in lead roles, the show also stars Raza Talish, Savera Nadeem, Nauman Ejaz, Ali Ansari and Anoushay Abbasi.
‘Abdullahpur Ka Devdas’ will stream on Zindagi’s official YouTube channel on every Friday and Saturday at 8pm according to Indian standard time.
