Pakistani Cinema brings an exclusive update for our readers that after much delays, finally Humayun Saeed and team have begun filming his next feature film, titled ‘Love Guru’.
The film stars Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Sohai Ali Abro and Vasay Chaudhry among others. Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan will be sharing the screen nine years after their much celebrated project ‘Bin Roye’ (2015).
The film is written by Vasay Chaudhry and is directed by Nadeem Baig. Suleman Razzaq, who has been DOP for films like ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ and ‘Parey Hut Love’, is helming the cinematography. The team has begin filming the first spell of the film in Karachi.
Humayun’s last film ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ released on Eid-ul-Azha in 2022. A new project going on floors by Pakistan’s major production studio after one and a half year, that too during a discouraging box office phase, is a sign of vitality for the film industry that was on its way to decline.
