Arch-rival India defeated Pakistan in a crucial game last night during the T20 World Cup. Luck didn’t go in favour of Pakistan as India won the match by 6 runs.
Having said that, there was one aspect of the match that turned out to be a true highlight i.e. the cross-border banter between our very own Hania Aamir and Indian actor Ayush Mehra

Hania dominated the first half as Pakistan took wickets at regular intervals. The cute exchange of words like ‘Yaar’, ‘Hanjee’, ‘Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai’, ‘Dard’ etc. As they say, cricket is unpredictable, therefore the match turned upside-down in the second half.

Ayush was all out enjoying the performance of team India stating comments like ‘Ohooo’, ‘We played’ etc. Hania in return maintained her cool and gave witty replies to Mehra.
Winning or losing is part of the game but the cool exchange of views between Hania and Ayush kept the spirit of cricket alive. Hoping to see more of it in the future.
